Don't forget that the show was made in the 60s where no-one really did any French kissing  - they didn't even have sex and separate beds. Maybe the reason Barbara looks so "ageless" as she does is because she IS a------ :seeya: Well, there are many ways to make you look 'ageless'... She comes across as a very relaxed, happy person - my impression from the pictures I've seen her in and the recent interview 'Out of the Bottle' on the season one DVD set with Larry, although sometimes I had the feeling she was kind of lost..maybe it's the way she looks at life these days and I heard she works out a lot that makes her look and feel so much younger.

Larry was (and is still) happily married to Maj- has been since 1954- and he NEVER had any extramarital affairs with Barbara Eden. Jeannie" [10/16/65], Captain Nelson reminds Jeannie they agreed their relationship is supposed to be "strictly platonic", but she claims, "I agreed because I did not know what 'platoinic' meant". Happiness in your life can do a lot to you and your health.

Sidney Sheldon has stated that Tony & Jeannie's relationship was "strictly platonic", and that NBC made SURE this was adhered to. The "friendly kiss goodbye" she then gives him, before he leaves for the base, tells me there WAS more going on between them---I guess it's up to the viewer to make their own conclusions. I know that June Lockhart & Guy Williams did "fool around" between takes on "LOST IN SPACE", according to one of their most frequent directors. I just hope all the "magic" you felt for them isn't gone completely.... I was joking.didn't ruin anything for me I meant to say that maybe you ruined it for some of the fans.I didn't mean anything bad by saying that... If you feel miserable it shows in your face and it makes you sick and look old.

;)You know TV Knowledge Fan you might have just ruined it for many Larry & Barbara shippers (god I haven't heard that word in a while but I guess it just popped into my mind ;)) by saying "no" - you know that was a big "no no" : D ... I know that June Lockhart & Guy Williams did "fool around" between takes on "LOST IN SPACE", according to one of their most frequent directors. I just hope all the "magic" you felt for them isn't gone completely.... I didn't mean to disillusion you about Larry & Barbara. I just have a weird sense of humor I guess..I believe if people really believe in things such as these no-one can tell them otherwise. I don't know what Barbara and Larry did or did not do back then, it's none of my business anyway plus I don't have the energy to think about things that happened forty years ago  or over the years to people I don't know personally - I enjoy watching the show and I enjoy reading the threads and I don't mind people saying they had an affair or not..all have a different opinions.

I personally liked them on the show and enjoyed the chemistry they had, they don't have to have a thing just to make things even better ;)...there's nothing worse than seeing a family falling apart through things like that.seem to be good friends and that alone sometimes is worth more than an affair cause all - now can I say that ;) magic is gone... I didn't mean to disillusion you about Larry & Barbara. Larry's commented many times with the answers publicly to the three most frequently asked questions: 1) No, we did not.
